Food
Delhi, which is inhabited by open-minded people also has a sweet corner for spicy street food whose scent fills Delhi. Chole bhature, Rajma chawal, Pav bhaji, Dal makhani and an endless variety of cuisine and delicacies seem to entice people from all over India to try the dishes found in Delhi. In Delhi, it’s not only the Indian food which is present. International food like- momos, noodles, ramen etc can be found on the menu of almost every restaurant. ‘ The people of Delhi are foodies.’ This statement can be justified by looking at the local and international restaurants which generally overflow with people.
Tourist Attractions
Delhi has deep historical roots. There are many historical places in Delhi which form huge tourist attractions; they have lovely yet mysterious stories behind them that the grandmothers often tell their grandchildren. Places like- Red Fort, India Gate, Lotus Temple, etc remind us of our glorious past and are great tourist attractions as well. Many valuable and historical things are preserved by the government in the many museums that are scattered in the city. Some of the old markets also speak volumes about the rich heritage encapsuled by this enchantingly ancient yet modern city.
Government
Talking about the government, it has a loving home base in Delhi due to which Delhi is progressive and open-minded. The Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha and the Parliament are the seats of a democratic set-up- all found in Delhi. The president and the prime minister of the country also live here.
This bustling and populated place with wide roads, numerous hotels and futuristic minds makes Delhi one of the most remarkable cities in the world!
