Krishna- an Eternal Light

Krishna- an Eternal Light

In the divine tales of Hindu mythology, ‘Krishan ji‘ emerges as a luminary figure whose multifaceted persona intertwines the realms of love, wisdom, and cosmic balance.

Born as the 8th embodiment of Lord Vishnu, Krishna exhibits various roles and qualities. He is a divine lover, a charismatic leader, a playful child, a wise philosopher, and a protector of righteousness. Krishna represents the concept of divine love, spiritual devotion, and the harmony between the material and spiritual worlds.

Vrindavan

Krishna’s journey began in trouble as he was separated from his parents at birth. Yet, he transformed his circumstances into something beautiful. His early years in Vrindavan were a symphony of childhood laughter: days spent stealing butter, and countless innocent adventures with his cherished friends. Amidst it all, his connection with Radha blossomed- a love both profound and poignant. Their tale of love and longing started in those very fields, where their hearts danced together. Krishna’s life radiated with unbridled joy, casting away the shadows of hardship. Vrindavan became a haven where problems dissolved amidst his infectious laughter. His journey reminds us that even in the face of adversity, the human spirit can find solace, companionship, and happiness in the simplest of moments.

The Larger Purpose

However, the most poignant phase of his life arrived when he had to bid farewell to Vrindavan. In leaving behind his beloved mother, his cherished lover, his dear friends, and his own family, he embraced a larger purpose. To safeguard his clan and parents, he made the heart-wrenching decision to confront his own uncle. For the sake of humanity’s well-being, he willingly relinquished all that was dear to him. Concealing his own suffering, he inaugurated a symphony of profound emotional intricacies. His journey for righteousness began a saga of the most intricate and touching mind games the world has ever witnessed: The Mahabharata.

The Mahabharata

At the heart of this epic tapestry- Mahabharata, stands Lord Krishna, a beacon of divine wisdom and unwavering compassion. With each step he took upon the tumultuous battlefield of Kurukshetra, he bore the weight of righteousness. Guiding mortals through the quagmire of their own ambitions and desires he showed them the eternal light to cleanse their karma. As a friend, philosopher, and charioteer, he illuminated the path of dharma, urging Arjuna and humanity to rise above their fears and embrace their destinies. His divine discourse, the Bhagavad Gita, encapsulated profound truths that continue to reverberate through the ages. Moreover, Krishna’s presence was not just a pivotal moment in history, but an eternal testament to the boundless love and sacrifice he embodied for the betterment of all.

I’ve always cherished Hindu mythology, especially the divine tale of Lord Krishna. His earthly incarnation to guide and teach humans about life is truly special. His beautiful relationships with family and friends, his role as a lover, brother, son, and friend, is truly mesmerizing.
For me, Krishna is a presence that I feel around me. He is always there as a supporter, a listener, and a guide. He fills my heart with warmth and love and although I don’t have a brother by blood, I am happy to know that ‘HE” will always be there. 😌
