Lincoln Loud is the main protagonist in The Loud House- a truly award winning animated series, earning more than five awards and stealing the hearts of children around the world. The series follows Lincoln Loud, the only boy in an action-packed family of eleven siblings, each with their own unique personalities. Every episode is packed with humour, chaos, and friendship. Sometimes the story focuses on Lincoln as he tries to survive life in a huge household full of sisters, and other times it shows the adventures, challenges, and funny moments of his sisters and parents. Even their grumpy neighbour, Mr. Grouse sometimes becomes part of the fun.

The Loud House started as a TV show first, loud and proud, in the year 2016. But, then the creators thought, what if other people had no TV? So, they created a book series one year later so as to make the series famous. Soon, The Loud House books began to pop up in libraries with engaging covers and people got hooked on to them. So, if you ever spot a Loud House book on the shelf, do remember that the books only joined the party one year after the launch of the series.
Lincoln Loud- The Character
Lincoln is eleven years old, has an average height and is very thin like all of his sisters. He has white hair and at times it makes Lincoln wonder if he is the son of aliens. He can usually be seen wearing s an orange t-shirt with tight blue pants and white shoes with a little bit of red on them. For bedtime, he often wears an orange nightie.
Lincoln is a kind and helpful kid who proudly calls himself the man with the plan because he always has a clever backup idea for every situation. He loves helping his sisters and uses his brilliant plans to get them exactly what they need. In one episode, Lincoln accidentally tells his friend out loud that he is the man with the plan because he really wants to get some money from his parents to go to a concert. Unfortunately, his sisters overhear him and immediately ask him to help them get money from their parents. Although the sisters get the money, Mum and Dad have none left for Lincoln, so he cannot buy his concert ticket. Feeling bad for him, his wonderfully kind sisters ask The Smooches, the band Lincoln wanted to see, to perform right outside their house instead. It turns into the best surprise ever and Lincoln is thoroughly happy.
He loves playing video games, watching TV shows about the supernatural or ARRRGH ( a tv show), reading comics and solving problems.
Lincoln has lots of friends but his best friend is Clyde McBride. Clyde is a sensitive and responsible kid with two dads who are overly protective. Among his other friends are Ronnie Anne, Stella, Zac, Liam and Rusty.
All in all, this entertaining and engaging series is so good that you could watch it ten times in a row without ever getting bored. The thing that makes me love The Loud House is just one character… Lincoln Loud. His witty sense and endearing qualities make me look beyond his annoying traits and I enjoy along with him. A sweet, kind and caring character, he will charm you also. So don’t misunderstand him and give him a chance.
