Hey there!
My name is Shilpi Haryal- I like to explore and chisel out creativity that abounds in people.
With a Master’s degree in English, I have mentored hundreds of students. My workspace has spanned various cities. My penchant for creative writing has propelled me to publish two books till date- The Adventures of Nidra Fairies (Notion Press) and A Heaven Deep Within (Kindle Publishing)
I have been expanding my horizon with the introduction of online connect. Various international students connect with me for creative writing, grammar, reading skills enhancement and Selective test preparation. What began during the Covid-19 pandemic with one student, as an experimental foray, has now turned into a surge- because students enjoy their learning when we work together.
While working with children as an English teacher, I found that many beautiful words went waste every year when notebooks got discarded at the end of academic sessions.
There are times when children write such beautiful things but alas! they never get preserved.
This platform is a medium to share with you all the beautiful words of my students who put in hours and sometimes days, to bring together a few meaningful words which they themselves are astonished at. Their pride is my joy and with every write-up I see them becoming more confident.
Some discover their true selves, some discover their flair for writing and some of them just find another reason to challenge their thoughts, ideas and words.
