My Dad- One of a kind!

My Dad- One of a kind!

Many of you may think all dads are the same, but no! My dad is one of the most peculiar people I have ever met. No matter what I do, he always scolds me in a gentle manner and converts my weaknesses into strengths. My dad’s name is Vineeth Pillai.

Fit and well built, my dad is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall. Every day, he pays a visit to the gym and 30 min later, I can see him in his car, dripping with sweat from head to toe. With pitch black hair and chocolate eyes, he looks like everything you want a dad to look like. Many people admire his gentle eyes. Though, most of the time his face is expressionless but his eyes are full of activity and joy!

My dad loves participating in activities I love. For example, me and my dad would play card games together when we are bored. Sometimes, he entertains me with a simple game of charades. My dad is also very good at his job. He is an engineer by profession and also the Head of IT-Europe. He enjoys his work very much and always satisfies his boss. What I don’t like about his job is that his meetings go for ages. He works day and night and it may even go till 3:30am, way past his bedtime!

Like I said before, my dad is one-of-a-kind. He may not be an expert chef, but he can occasionally be seen in the kitchen, whipping up certain delicacies. Likewise, he may not be the type to go shopping, nevertheless, he squeezes out every opportunity to take me out for small excursions whenever possible. Me, my mom and my dad always go to Parramatta Park for a jog or a ride on my cycle!

For many kids, moms and dads are both their favourite but for me my dad is my favourite parent! Gentle, always pitching in the pranks, loving and motivating- I love his company and just like he is my favourite, so am I for him!
