Amidst a quiet and tranquil neighbourhood where the birds sing songs, there stands a traditional and mellow home that calls me so loud. My house is situated on a street in Riverstone called Sydney St. Inside this dreamy wonderland is a place with a kaleidoscope of colours that bolden the neutral walls and flooring. My home is a moment in life.
The Inner Core of my Home
In this dream world perch 3 bedrooms, the coziest one belonging to me and my sister. This room is a splash of colour because of the paintings and the bed sheet. Amongst these bedrooms lay 2 lounge rooms. The one used to greet people has a massive black old-fashioned clock. A table underneath it has some mesmerising flowers in a pot. In addition, it also has a colossal picture of a religious worship place with a bold golden frame. In our favourite hanging out spot, the family room, we have a mammoth TV and a sizable white couch. Right above the couch sits an endearing painting of amber flowers. The kitchen that I dearly love has two black stools in front of the bench top and a glossy black wall. The distinguished dining area has a defining golden mirror and a wooden white coloured dining table resting on the floor.
The Outer Core of my Home
My house is built from beige bricks and black roof tiles, it has a sheltered area protecting us from harmful rays of the sun, rain and even dust. This shelter is made in considerable size and it covers two cars. The remaining space is enough to play handball with two people. Furthermore, we have a large front yard created with the greenest grass, and covering the yard is a green hedge with four roundly cut trees.
Neighbourhood
My neighbourhood is as peaceful as a dove. Greenery surrounds every house and refreshing trees are found abundantly around backyards and roads. Although my neighbourhood is old, it is the best place anyone could ever wish to live in.
My home is amazing in all sorts of ways, the neighbourhood, how it looks and what it means to our family.
As a poem goes… A cow has his barn, a chick has his pen, the horse his stable, a fox a den. The bear likes his cave, a fish, his bowl. A rabbit, his hutch, and a wee mouse his hole. A bee has its hive, a bird has its nest, the spider- his web, but my home is the best.
