Mobiles are the most used things in our life. Mobile is not just a device these days, it is a way of life. In today’s world, humans cannot survive without it. Mobiles have become our lifelines. With mobiles, we can call people anytime, anywhere and track locations with GPS. We can also do online banking, store important photos and documents and get entertained through our mobile. The best part is, we can carry it in our pockets anywhere we go, it is so portable. Hence, we can easily say that the mobile phone is one of the best inventions so far.
Communication
One of the most important things we do on the mobile is to communicate with each other. Irrespective of whether anyone is overseas or near you, you can easily talk to them. You can even see them in a few taps on your phone. Then there is digital messaging, which has largely reduced the use of postcards and pagers. This effective and fast way to communicate is economical and quickly accessible. Not only this, sending and receiving photos, documents, pictures, etc- all can be done with easy clicks. Hence, it is a great invention.
Entertainment
The second reason why I find mobiles to be great is that they provide entertainment. With mobile phones, entertainment has become very easily accessible. Whenever we get bored, we can just pull out our mobile and amuse ourselves. We might pull pranks, see a sports match and the most common one, watch TV. Having a mobile is like seeing everything on a small portable screen. Almost 67% of mobile users use entertainment apps the most. Therefore, I believe mobile phones are the greatest invention.
Directions
Have you ever wanted to go to a place but didn’t know the directions? Or have you been lost and didn’t know the direction back home? If you have a mobile phone, you will hardly ever be lost. With a good signal, you can use its GPS to track locations and give the fastest route to your destination. Additionally, if you are missing or kidnapped, the police can track where you are, as long as you have the mobile with you. Your phone sends signals to the closest cell tower and they can track its location. What else do we need in a mini-gadget? I am sure every intelligent person can see by now what a great invention mobile phone is.
Therefore, we all can conclude that mobile phones simplify everyone’s life and make many tasks easier. No more going to banks, no more getting lost and best of all- free entertainment. For all these reasons, I am strongly and wholeheartedly convinced that mobile phones are the greatest invention.
